DRONE PHOTOGRAMMETRY TECHNOLOGY
We use the latest drone photogrammetry technology, providing detailed 3D modeling and site layout imagery. These high-definition images lead to improved understanding of the design and reduce time spent on design rework.

We have particular expertise in managing complex multi-disciplinary projects, initially focussed in precious and base metals, but expanding into other sectors and industries.
THE METRIC PCM STORY
James Moran and Andrew Rolfe founded Metric PCM in 2021.
With a passion for the mining industry, both James and Andrew left their hometowns of Port Macquarie and Wollongong to move to Cobar, NSW for an opportunity to work in the resources industry. They worked at a multiple sites in the Cobar basin, and alongside each other as electrical and mechanical tradespeople.
They both left Cobar to further develop their skills and expertise in mining, oil & gas and civil infrastructure projects but in 2020 they found themselves back there.
James joined Andrew to assist with a major mining infrastructure project and after the completion of the project, they identified an opportunity in the project delivery market for a streamlined project management business, with a strong practical emphasis and experience base.
A SMARTER, MORE STREAMLINED APPROACH TO PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Many projects are often managed end-to-end by Engineers. James and Andrew felt a smarter, more streamlined approach to project management would provide greater value for clients.
Most components can be managed by skilled Project Managers with hands-on industry experience. Specialist, select engineers are only engaged when needed. This streamlined approach results in cost efficiencies and higher return on investment for clients.
METRIC PCM FOUNDATION AND GROWTH
James and Andrew spent a year working on planning and developing Metric PCM to fulfil the goal of being a quality, practical service provider. In the first year of operation, they grew their core team to 5 employees and supporting several clients across the resources sector.
Within 5 Years the team has grown to over 20 Direct Staff, plus supporting Contract personnel to provide specific expertise and flexibility. The Client base has diversified away from purely resource industry projects, and the diversity of skills and experience expanded to be able to take on varied, complex assignments in multiple industry sectors and locations.
