THE METRIC PCM STORY

METRIC PCM FOUNDATION AND GROWTH

James and Andrew spent a year working on planning and developing Metric PCM to fulfil the goal of being a quality, practical service provider. In the first year of operation, they grew their core team to 5 employees, supporting several clients across the resources sector.

Within 5 Years the team has grown to over 22 direct and contract staff providing depth, specific expertise and flexibility. The Client base has diversified away from purely resource industry projects, and the team’s skills and experience expanded to be able to take on varied, complex assignments in multiple industry sectors and locations.

James Moran and Andrew Rolfe founded Metric PCM in 2021.

With a passion for the mining industry, both James and Andrew left their hometowns of Port Macquarie and Wollongong to move to Cobar, NSW for an opportunity to work in the resources industry. They worked at multiple sites in the Cobar basin, and alongside each other as electrical and mechanical tradesmen/supervisors.

They both left Cobar to further develop their skills and expertise in mining, oil & gas and civil infrastructure projects but in 2020 they found themselves returning.

James joined Andrew to assist with a major mining infrastructure project and after the completion of the project, they identified an opportunity in the project delivery market for a streamlined project and construction management business, with a strong practical emphasis and experience base.
