CSA MINE (2023-2026)

Metric PCM was engaged to provide Project Consultancy Services during the execution phase of a Program of Projects including:  

  • Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) Buttressing 

  • TSF Stage 10 embankment raise 

The Projects included: 

  • Bulk excavation and placement of ~550,000m3 of tailings 

  • Crushing, screening and placement of ~370,000m3 of rockfill  

  • Tailings discharge piping and re-augmentation 

  • Decant chutes 

  • Emergency spillway 

  • Enlargement of environmental dams 

The Project required careful planning to ensure alignment with mine plans to source enough waste rock to construct the embankment.
