GREAT COBAR PROJECT (2025-2028)

  • Metric PCM was engaged to provide Project Consultancy Services during the execution phase of a Program of Projects for the Great Cobar Project which is the development of a new copper deposit to the north of its existing New Cobar Complex. 

The Program included the following Projects: 

  • ~5700m of capital development to first ore (by owner) 

  • ~630m raisebore shaft 

  • Augmentation of existing primary ventilation circuit including: upgrades to existing surface primary ventilation fan, ventilation doors, secondary ventilation fans 

  • Augmentation to 22kV power supply to the mine including coordination of permitting with service providers (Essential Energy) 

  • 22/11kV transformers, switchgear and cable dropper into mine 

  • Surface to underground slick lines and service holes 

  • 60m3/hr Batch plant 

  • Underground pump station 

  • Water reticulation systems including: piping, tanks, bores and pumps 

  • Replacement air compressor servicing the New Cobar Complex operation
