PEAK MINE PROJECT

COBAR BASIN OPTIMISATION PROJECT (2025-2026)

Metric PCM was engaged to provide Project Consultancy Services during the execution phase of a Program of Projects including: 

  • Tailings Thickener and Process Water Upgrades 

  • Ball Mill 

  • Ore Transfer and Materials Handling Upgrades 

The Program included the relocation and installation of the following equipment: 

  • 1MW Ball Mill (relocated from another mine site) 

  • Cyclone nest (new) 

  • Slurry Pumps (new) 

  • Dewatering Thickener (new) 

  • High Voltage equipment (new) 

  • Switchroom and MCC (relocated from another mine site) 

Works completed in a brownfield environment and daily coordination with operational teams to minimise the impact on the operating plant. The Projects were completed with the end result allowing the plant to increase its overall throughput from 800ktpa to 1.2mtpa.
